Hayes is the co-founder, lead designer, and creative director of Anansi Hayes Media, and has spent over 20 years uplifting unique voices by creating brand tools that move their supporters and communities.
From rock stars and hip-hop legends to museums, theatres, cultural centers, institutions, and thought leaders – Hayes worked directly with music icon Carly Simon on her first official visual identity, website, and legacy line, developed the full branding and web presence for Aquinnah Cultural Center: Wampanoag History Museum, built campaigns for both Digital Underground and the Shinnecock Nation, and created original artwork for TEDx, the NAACP, and the Estate of Vince Guaraldi.
He’s also a published author, award-winning filmmaker, and a songwriter with a top-ten hit in Japan to his credit. If he’s got any free time he’s likely sitting by the fire with a cup of tea and a good book or a scary movie. Above all, he’s a devoted husband to his creative partner Nekeshia Hayes, and father to their three near-adults.
